I love using these beads for both jewelry making, but probably more for my pens and pencils! The matte finish is raw wood that allows for essential oils to be penetrated onto the beads. Just 1-2 drops on a bead or two and you can have a wonderful smell that lasts a day or two. I also have made an essential oil water bath and soaked my bracelet for about 10 minutes and it gives a nice touch too! Please note, there are 2 sizes available. 8mm round which are the matte finish and 8mm rondelle, which are finished.
